The 2000 version was based on a similar concept, but Frankie took on a more student-like role, and he has picked the player to be his partner in the school treasure hunt. The classic version contains the voiceover and singing talents of Mark Beckwith of Razzle Bam Boom and Glynnis Talken Campbell including the songs My Friend and Vegetables. Playing activities earned points, which could eventually be traded in for milk cap rewards. The 1995 version of the game is basically an interactive schoolhouse full of educational activities, songs, and the like, and Frankie was the school mascot in charge of guiding the player around. The original 1994 version (also referred to as the Classic Version) was the first appearance of Frankie, a brown, anthropomorphic dog who would go on to become the mascot of the JumpStart series. It was updated significantly in 2000 and was replaced JumpStart Advanced 1st Grade in 2002, which was later replaced by JumpStart 3D Virtual World: Trouble in Town. Once the player completes all of the tracks, Jimmy's track is unlocked and, if beaten, the game is won.JumpStart 1st Grade (known as Jump Ahead Year 1 in the United Kingdom) is a personal computer game created by Knowledge Adventure in 1994 intended to teach a 1st grade curriculum. In order to win, each track must be beaten twice - once against two other main characters, and once against one another main character and Jimmy Bumples. The goal is to get the scooters into top shape and finish all of the tracks. The power-ups can be turned into gadgets to enhance scooters, or tricks to place on the tracks. There are eight power-ups total, one for each character. Then it's off to the arena to compete against the other racers.Įach time the player completes an activity with one of the JumpStart All-Stars, they receive a power-up. The player can collect power-ups to add to any of the seven main characters' scooters by playing activities around JumpStartville. In this game, the player participates in the JumpStartville Scooter Tournament. It was originally titled JumpStart Advanced 1st Grade and released as a stand-alone CD. JumpStart Advanced 1st Grade: Fundamentals is the first disc in the JumpStart Advanced 1st Grade 3-Disc set and Version 2.0 release. Not to mention, they really went all the way with the voice actors (no really, that's actually Dee Bradley Baker voicing Frankie, he also voiced Edison.) I will even be showcasing the All-Star Walkie Talkie in most of the activities. I do the All-Star Match Up Quiz and my choices went with Kisha, but I chose Frankie. Now that I'm playing it now I find it to be really fun. I had my copy of this since the mid-late 2000's, but I didn't play it all that much.

I was gonna do the classic 19 versions of JumpStart 1st Grade, but I decided to do the Advanced version for reasons not important.
